Order policy

Everything below applies to bespoke work you order from PlayableGO. The click-by-click steps are in Ordering a custom playable.

How we work

You work with the developer, not a middle desk. Your order is picked up by an experienced PlayableGO developer, and you talk to them directly in the order's own conversation on the platform. There is no separate email thread, chat group or ticket system to keep in sync.

Feedback is unlimited until you are happy. There is no cap on revision rounds. Ask for as many changes as the build needs; each one goes back into development and returns as a new demo. The one exception is scope: a change that rewrites the mechanic, or that departs substantially from the brief we quoted against, is priced as extra work and quoted before anyone starts on it.

What we commit to.

• A finished product — a real, production-ready playable. Not a prototype, not a generated mock-up.
• Optimised ad performance: size, load time and runtime behaviour are tuned for the networks you are shipping to.
• Bugs you report before handover are fixed before handover.

The whole order runs on the platform. Nothing happens off it:

New request → we review and quote → you pay the deposit (if any) → in progress → you review the demo → more feedback → in progress → … → you approve → final payment → handover.

You pay in credits, on the platform. Both the deposit and the final payment are taken from your organization's credit balance, so orders reuse the same wallet, top-up flow and billing history as everything else.

Price and timeline are quoted per order, from the gameplay, how complex the mechanic is, the artwork, the number of maps and anything else the brief asks for. Indicative starting prices and turnarounds are on the pricing page.

What you receive

• The source code, written in Cocos Creator. It does not include our playable build/packaging pipeline.
• A private template on the platform, which your organization customizes and exports with the Custom Engine.

Quotes

A quote is priced in credits and is valid for the period stated on the order. The quote on your order is the figure that binds — the pricing page only gives indicative starting points. It covers the work described in the brief as it stood when we quoted. Substantial changes to the brief are re-quoted rather than absorbed.

Payment

Orders are paid in two parts: a deposit to begin, and the balance on approval.

• Work starts once the deposit is paid. A zero deposit starts immediately.
• The delivered template is added to your organization when the final payment clears — not before.
• Both payments are taken in credits from the organization's balance. Make sure the balance covers it before accepting, or the payment step will stop and direct you to top up.

Revisions

Ask for a revision from the order page during review; the order returns to development and the demo is withdrawn until the next build is ready. There is no limit on how many times you can do this.

Only changes that alter what was agreed — a different mechanic, a materially different brief — are quoted separately, and you see that quote before the work starts.

Exports and ownership

However it was ordered, what you end up with is a template your organization can build and export from, exactly like a purchased one. Free exports and export costs follow the ordinary template policy.

A new template is exclusive to your organization. A reskin or customization is private to your organization — it does not become the public version of the template it was based on.

Cancellation

You may cancel before the deposit is paid at no cost. After work has started, a cancellation is settled against the work already done; the deposit is not automatically refunded. We may cancel an order we cannot deliver, and refund what has been paid for undelivered work.
